    - Lead Minister

My journey of faith began with an experience of Jesus that changed my life. For me, following Jesus will always be informed and shaped by that experience of the God who welcomes and claims us all with a love that never gives up. Just as my life has been changed and is being changed by Jesus, so too I believe we as his followers are called to join God in the transformation of the world, God's mission to make all things new. As lead minister, I support and encourage the many ways that St. Paul's seeks to join in the mission of God, making disciples of Jesus Christ, and experiencing how God is changing our lives each and every day.

I received my master of divinity from St. Andrew's College in Saskatoon and was ordained by the LIving Skies regional council in 2019. I also hold a master of business administration. In addition to my work at St. Paul's, I also serve the wider church as a member of the executive of the general council, the governing body for the national church, and on the pension board for the United Church pension plan. In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors, fitness, reading, and enjoying the house my partner Jordan and I recently bought.

    -worship arts director

I am a “prairies convert" - although I still pick my BC Lions over the SK Roughriders (even if SK seems to always win :'( What revs me up is music - and creativity. As the Worship Arts Director, my role is to facilitate and encourage spiritual growth in worship teams and the congregation by providing a Positive Experience of God. In achieving this mission, I rely heavily on two of our Core Values; “Worship joyfully” and “Serve with enthusiasm.”

The opportunities that exist within the SPUC Worship Arts program go much wider than participating in music - they reach the frontiers of many multimedia fronts - such as tech, sound, video and imagery.

If you’d like to be part of something bigger than yourself, want to learn new skills from a wide array of talented people, and want to go deeper with God, then let me know about it - that’s why I’m here ... to participate on your spiritual journey, utilizing many creative outlets!

    -FAITH FORWARD TEAM LEADER

One of the challenges and blessings of life is that the big things are seldom predictable. God constantly surprises! I am simultaneously challenged, blessed and surprised by the depth of my newfound passion for discovering and helping to guide others along new paths to lifelong Christian faith formation.

Faith Forward embodies love that "colours outside the lines" and "takes us in to places where we've never been before". As members of a loving, intergenerational community, we seek to support and encourage each other as we engage wholeheartedly and prayerfully in the quest to grow our faith.

Faith Forward is for children and youth, but it is for everyone else as well. Join the adventure!
